It’s hard to believe that we have already entered a new year. Where does the time go? Then again isn’t that what history is all about, the passage of time.

The Museum’s last event for 2023 was Founders’ Day, and we tried our best to make the most of it, considering the wet weather. Fortunately, our contributors and attendees were not daunted by the rain, and we had a very successful event. Everyone adjusted to the conditions and made it all happen. I would like to thank all of you for your steadfast support of the Templeton Historical Museum Society and Founders’ Day.

The plan was to kick off our Raise the Roof for the Heritage House fundraiser on Founders’ Day, but conditions didn’t allow for it. The Heritage House is to be a storage facility located behind the Blacksmith Shop to house our historical vehicles. This building will help free-up needed space in our other buildings for artifacts and membership meetings. (Read More Below)
